Synod Documents Click here for Synod Documents The process for submissions for the October 2024 session of the Synod of Bishops continues.
In the Regina Archdiocese, communities are invited to hold listening sessions on what members understand and take away from the Syntheses Report from the first session. Our Synod Team is soliciting your input in the days ahead. A number of you were present to hear Sr. Elizabeth Davis, one of the Canadian delegates, share her experience and reflections. Also, Bridget Mary Meehan of ARCWP has assembled highlights from the Vatican Synthesis Report. Access to a Sr. Elizabeth's recording and the slides she used, as well as Bridget Mary's highlights can be found here:
Our
community Synod Team suggests that we refine our focus to the issue of
“Women in the Life and Mission of the Church,” particularly the
inclusion of the ordination of women to the priesthood, which has
been avoided in the Synopsis Report.
We welcome you to send the team and reflections you have on this, or any other synod topic.

And for those who grieve. * For those with no hope, those who care for them and all of us * For all who are suffering, to feel God's love in their despair * For all the members of our extended rcwp Canada community who have health issues... * For all those suffering from mental illness, as was my neighbour, who took her life a couple of weeks ago. * Prayers for family travelling in Europe this week * For all that have been victims of organized crime scammers (as I was in Jan), to know that they are not stupid, and that they can recover

It has been suggested that we honour our beloved Sr. Patricia with a memorial fund. Donations will go to local Truth and Reconciliation projects with which she was involved. Since she considered us her parish, the though is that ministry to the Indigenous people of Regina was truly her mission among us and that it would be a special way we could honour her and her memory. If you would like to contribute to this memorial fund, donations may be made by e-transfer to mmiccRegina@gmail.com by cheque upon request for the street address by writing to mmiccRegina@gmail.com via PayPal by clicking on this link: paypal.com/paypalme/MaryOfMagdala Eulogy for Patricia Orban -- November 23, 2023 -- Video of Mass of Christian Burial (preceeded by 11 minutes of photos of Sr. Patricia's life) New on the Bulletin Board and upcoming events Notice the new feature, "New on the Bulletin Board and upcoming events," at the top of the MMICC Bulletin Board. This will help you save time after you have looked over the whole Bulletin Board at the beginning of the month; then each day that you come back to the Bulletin Board, you only have to check to see if there is something new, and not have to go searching the whole Bulletin Board again. Clicking on any new item at the top of the page will "jump" you to the place where there is more information. The latest issue of RCWP Canada's online magazine The Review is at: https://rcwpcanada.altervista.org If you can't find what you're looking for in the Bulletin Board, try the search engine at the top of this page. Go to the top of the page quickly by clicking on the red "Top" button to your right. Donations
to F.R.O.G. (Forever Rely On
God) are
used for minimal operating expenses.
Most of your gifts are passed through to organizations that serve those
in need. Suggestions for where to make donations are
welcome. For

MMICC
is not
able
to give charitable donation receipts for income tax purposes.
