Anyone interested is asked to get in touch with +Jane (photina61@gmail.com) by March 1, prior to our next team meeting. Faith Enrichment Session
Welcome everyone to our next Faith Enrichment session Saturday February 25th 10:00 Saskatchewan time (CST) We have been working hard
preparing a new session which will help us focus on Lent through the
lens of “Rooted in the Earth, Born from the Stars”.
Ash and stardust are the symbols we used to prepare this time together. As we are dust and will return to dust, we also know that our own organic selves have been born from stardust, and so we belong to both spheres. Jackie shared with us at a meeting that she saw a bumper sticker once which read: “A saint you ain’t, but a star you are!” What a consolation for us all! With song, readings, reflections, prayers and time to share in our break-out rooms, we think this Lenten session will provide us all with a bit of soul-nourishment to help us on our Lenten journey. PLEASE BRING WITH YOU: your journal or paper and pen. The program aid for participation -- click here. Schedule for Eucharist and other events at

Learning How to See Podcast with Brian McLaren - Season 4
Whether you stay Christian or not, you have to wake up the next morning and decide what kind of human to be. —Brian McLaren In the new season of Learning How to See, host Brian McLaren invites listeners to dive deep into “how” we stay Christian after going through a period of introspection and doubt. Joined this season by CAC friends Barbara Brown Taylor and Rev. Jacqui Lewis, Brian invites listeners to explore the guideposts on our faith journey that keep us honest, open, and more fully human during troubled times. How do we transform and transcend our biases? From unconscious judgments to complacency in systemic evil, we must learn how to see if we are to learn how to transform. In the podcast Learning How to See, author, public theologian, and former evangelical pastor Brian McLaren helps listeners discover how seeing is social, political, and contemplative. Subscribe to Learning How to See on your favorite podcast player or listen online! Give it up for the Earth!

REQUESTS: Prayers of the People – From the Order of Service, Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, 2023 P: With faith and confidence, we come in prayer: Creator God, today we live with the consequences of actions that have made life unsustainable for some and overabundant for others. Teach us to know how to use responsibly the resources you have given to us for the benefit of all with respect for all creation. R: Teach us and show us the way. Compassionate God, help us repair the harm that we have inflicted upon each other and the divisions we have created among your people. Just as Christ Jesus breathed the Holy Spirit onto the disciples to birth the community of the new creation, send your grace to heal our divisions and gift us with the unity for which Jesus prayed. Teach us and show us the way. Christ, the way, the truth and the life, you embodied justice in your ministry on earth by the good that you did, breaking down the walls that divide and the prejudices that imprison. Open our hearts and minds to recognize that though we are many, we are one in you. Teach us and show us the way. Holy Spirit, you create anew the face of the earth. The summit of the mountains, the thunder of the sky, the rhythm of the lakes speak to us – Because we are connected. The faintness of the stars, the freshness of the morning, the dewdrops on the flower speak to us – Because we are connected. The voices of the poor, the oppressed and the marginalized speak to us – Because we are connected. P: We lift our prayers as part of your body incarnate, and uniting us to the world in this time and place; All: Amen Prayers from the Eucharist of February 12th
Patricia O. asks that we add Sr. Thoung, RNDM to the prayer list. She has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
