“I’m absolutely convinced that nothing can separate us from Creator’s eternal love – nothing living or dead, nothing angelic or demonic, nothing present or to come, nothing high or low, nothing thinkable or unthinkable – absolutely nothing in all creation can get between us and God’s great love because of the way that Jesus, the Christ, has embraced us.” Romans 8:38-39.

sure and certain hope in Christ Jesus who died on the cross and was

We’re back… and here we go!! You know the expression “Fools rush in where angels fear to tread”? Well, that kind of sums up the Faith Enrichment Team of this beautiful MMICC! We don’t know if we are wise or foolish, but we’ve signed up for a new round of get-togethers this Fall. So… (big breath) 3 – 2 – 1 … here we go! The Faith Enrichment Team cordially invites you to gather on the third Saturday of the next three months (October, November and December) for themed-inspired meet-ups that promise to be soul-satisfying and filled with life and joy. During these sessions, we will be exploring the Parable of the Sower in three “movements”. The Sower: Saturday, October 15th, 10:00 Saskatchewan time. The Seed:
November 26th,
10:00 (Note: This
is a change of date from the previous announcement.) The Soil: December 17th, 10:00
NOTE: We will keep you posted about the October event through the Bulletin Board, as we might suggest that you bring along a particular article to the celebration.
Remember that this Saturday, October 15th, you are all invited to come together for a Faith Enrichment Session on the Parable of the Sower. It all starts at 10:00 Saskatchewan Time (CST). Grab a coffee and join us for a 45-minute (approx) filled with good will, music, prayer, sharing time, and more. **** BRING ALONG: we invite you to bring a crusty roll, a loaf of bread, or a slice of anything you have at hand, as long as it is made with some sort of grain. We will be using the bread for a meditative time. **** You will find the program of the session on the Bulletin Board and if you want to follow along, you are welcome to do so. You will find it handy to follow the songs. At the bottom of the program notes, we have added the resources and websites we used for inspiration. Hope to see you this Saturday morning with a big dose of quiet patience, as we are still figuring out things like sharing videos and audio clips. Recurring event -- BODY PRACTICE: My

display 'pink shoes' to call for equality in the church
Hundreds of Catholic women in New Zealand contributed to a provocative public art protest on Sept. 18 calling for equality of women in the church. [Note: Leone M. RNDM, Patricia's friend and colleague, is a member of BE THE CHANGE.] Women's shoes were displayed during the "Pink Shoes into the Vatican" event Sept. 18 in Auckland, New Zealand. in the USCCB Synod report:
“There was a desire for stronger leadership, discernment, and decision-making roles for women – both lay and religious – in their parishes and communities: ‘people mentioned a variety of ways in which women could exercise leadership, including preaching and ordination as deacon or priest. Ordination for women emerged not primarily as a solution to the problem of the priest shortage, but as a matter of justice.’” Statement in the CCCB Synod
report:
" . . . all regional reports acknowledged receiving requests that women be granted access to ordained ecclesial ministries." The Season of Care for Creation continues until October 4th.
