LENT 2022 Theme for Lent 2022: Drawing from Wisdom Wells Introductory letter to Lent 2022 Dear Mary of Magdala
Inclusive Catholic Community,
Here we are again, the beginning of Lent for another year. Traditionally Lent is a time of self-reflection, openness to the Spirit of God moving in our lives, and commitment to change for the better in ourselves and our world. The practices of prayer, fasting and almsgiving are intended to help us move along the journey of transformation to Oneness in Christ. Read More Lent Resources Article by Teresa Hanlon on a topic related to our Lenten theme: On the
morning of February 19, 2022, almost a “screen full” of us
gathered with MMICC’s Indigenous Relations Team to listen to Métis
Elder, Water Walker, Marjorie Beaucage. We told our own stories of
water growing up, playing on the shores and beaches of oceans (Atlantic
and Pacific), lakes and rivers. We remembered wells and creeks, the
beginnings and the breadth of great drinks.
